Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The exterior waterproofing and restoration project will include the following work: 1. Removal of four courses of the existing brick masonry veneer and install new specified through-wall flashing, to include the installation of a specified protective waterproofing membrane and new weep foam. This work also includes the re-installation of the brick veneer. 2. Remove and replace any broken or damaged brick. 3. Install new below-grade waterproofing membrane, liquid-applied. This work requires the removal of the existing soil, portions of the existing sidewalk, portions of the existing asphalts road and parking areas, the installation of a new French drain, and specified replacement of the removed soil, the removed portions of sidewalk, and the removed portions of the asphalt parking or road. 4. Pressure wash below-grade block and concrete walls. 5. Apply two-coats of specified elastomeric coating to the basement level concrete walls. 6. Apply two-coats of specified elastomeric coating to the basement level concrete and block walls in the entry access of the north elevation. 7. Apply two-coats of specified elastomeric coating to the basement level concrete and block walls in the rear entrance area on the south elevation. 8. Pressure wash the entire exterior of the facility. 9. Remove and replace deteriorated wall joint sealant. 10. Remove and replace all perimeter sealant around door and windows frames. 11. Thoroughly clean the concrete fascia beam. 12. Apply two-coats of exterior metal grade latex paint over the service doors. All Bids must be on the Bid Form provided. This Bid Form must not be detached from the bid manual. With his/her bid, each Bidder must deposit security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, subject to the conditions stated in the Instruction to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum will be required of the successful Bidder. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Dyersburg hereby notifies all bidders it will affirmatively ensure any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin or religion.
