Faber Construction, acting as the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Mechanical Contractor/Construction Manager (MC/CM) and Electrical Contractor Construction Manager (EC/CM) firms for the Roosevelt Elementary School Rebuild Project. The project includes the demolition of the existing school and construction of a new 70,000 sq ft, two-story mass timber facility for up to 450 students, emphasizing sustainability, net-zero energy readiness, geothermal systems, photovoltaic arrays with battery storage, and high-efficiency HVAC. Site improvements include parking, utilities, and coordination with the surrounding neighborhood. Minimum qualifications require WA State registration, experience with similar projects, and ability to provide bonding and insurance. Finalists will be invited to submit sealed proposals for percent fee on Maximum Allowable Subcontract Cost (MASC) and specified general conditions. Instructions and definitions for the bid will be provided in the Request for Proposal issued to finalists.
