Project Status: Preconstruction Phase / Bidding Phase. The City of Gainesville Catalyst Site Expansion Project includes site demolition and redevelopment to support the operations of the Gainesville Fire Rescue Headquarters. The scope of demolition includes the removal of the existing loading dock, pavement, and curbing to prepare the site for new construction. Exterior improvements consist of earthwork, grading, paving, and installation of new stormwater and utility infrastructure. Electrical work consists of a new emergency generator and connections to the existing building. The Catalyst building improvements consist of replacing the exterior signage, minor interior office space improvements, and the installation of an additional storage cage.
