Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the project, including grading, paving and sidewalks and shade structures and other associated items of work. Work on the improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Board of Trustees. The Contractor shall substantially complete the project by May 31, 2026 and fully complete the project by September 30, 2026. Liquidated damages in the amount of Seven Hundred Fifty dollars ($750.00) per calendar day that the work remains uncompleted after the end of the contract period. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond, in form acceptable to the Jurisdiction, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The bidder's security shall be in the amount fixed in the Instruction to Bidders and shall be in the form of a cashier's check, a certified check, or a bank money order drawn on a FDIC insured bank in Iowa or on a FDIC insured bank chartered under the laws of the United States; or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States; or a bid bond on the form provided in the contract documents with corporate surety satisfactory to the Jurisdiction. The bid shall contain no condition except as provided in the specifications. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The West Des Moines Water Works, hereinafter called the Jurisdiction, has need of a qualified contractor to complete the work comprising the below referenced improvement.
