Site work for a road / highway in Horton, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Hauling City Street Materials. Bids should be sealed and submitted according to the enclosed bid schedule. Street materials and aggregate bids should specify the price per ton per loaded mile for hauling on an as-needed basis only. The City reserves the right to haul materials with its own equipment but will require some outside hauling services. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The Commission reserves the right to reject all bids. All bids must be for the year 2026. Fuel adjustments will be made based on EIA Midwestern price averages; for each $0.10 per gallon increase, bidders will be allotted an additional $0.01 per mile (not per ton per mile) to the bid price. The City will not be responsible for any standby time or other miscellaneous fees associated with hauling. Bids must be submitted by noon on December 31, 2025. Bidders must use the provided bid schedule and indicate the hauling price per ton per loaded mile.
