The Upper Brushy Creek Water Control and Improvement District (District) is requesting Proposals for construction of the following Project: Chandler Creek Trib 3A Restoration. This Project is a restoration of a stream channel. The work will involve removing a concrete-lined pilot channel and excavating a new rifflepool stream channel with a step-pool outfall into Meadow Lake upstream of Dam 14 in Round Rock, TX. Invasive species within the riparian area will be removed and the riparian area will be replanted with native vegetation. The work will include providing traffic control and pedestrian safety around the work area during all phases of the project. Also, the work will include providing and maintaining erosion and sediment control as per the State-approved stormwater pollution control plan. This Project includes the following Work: Concrete Pilot Channel Removal Excavation (Channel) Step Pools (with Rip Rap and Boulders) Boulder Cross Vanes (with Sills and Filter Fabric) Constructed Riffle Erosion and Sedimentation Controls Permanent Signage Establishing Permanent Vegetation (Including Mulch): Permanent Seeding, Various Trees, Various Bushes, Various Shrubs, Irrigation System The successful proposer will propose the duration from Notice to Proceed for the project to be substantially complete and ready for operation, however it is not anticipated to exceed 90 to 120 calendar days.
