Description

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Whittier, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.

Sealed bids will be accepted for the installation of 4.6 miles of Class II bike lanes and 3.8 miles of Class III bike lanes and the performance of other appurtenant work for the South Whittier Community Bikeway Access Improvements in the Cities of La Mirada and Santa Fe Springs and the unincorporated community of South Whittier. Irrigation equipment, pedestrian signage, street lighting, and traffic signal equipment must match specific brand names already in use on other public improvements. Bids must be submitted electronically through Bid Express before 11 a.m. on the scheduled bid opening date. Bids must be on the proposal forms included in the contract documents, which may be downloaded free of charge. Paper bids will not be accepted. The work must comply with the Plans and Specifications and shall be completed in 280 working days. The prime contractor must possess a valid California Class A contractor's license. Prebid questions regarding the Plans and Specifications must be submitted via email only.
