Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Constantia, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Proposed Interior Improvements and Alterations of a new Town Hall for the Town of Constantia Town Hall Project (the Project) will include the renovation of and alterations to a former church. The work covered by this contact is included in the contract documents but in general includes demolition of the existing spaces including the removal of existing walls, removal of existing bulkheads, removal of existing doors, frames, and exterior windows, removal of existing floor finishes, removal of the existing ceiling tiles and grid system, removal of the existing hot water heating system, all electrical and low voltage wiring. New construction will include, but is not limited to, new interior partitions, new countertops and cabinetry, new doors and windows, new interior finishes, new glass partitions and walls, new replacement exterior windows and exterior wall infill, and a new side entrance into the Town Hall / Meeting Room / Conference Room, new HVAC system and controls, new electrical wiring, devices and lighting, new ADA Toilet Room fixtures, and all items shown on the contract drawings. This contract is for General/Architectural/Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) work only. The contractor is responsible for coordinating the work activities between all the sub-contractors. Any questions regarding this Project shall be directed to the Architect of Record in writing. Responses shall be issued in the form of an addendum to this bid. The Owner is exempt from payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and countries on all materials, equipment and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the Contractor and his Subcontractors of materials, equipment and supplies to be sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract, including tangible personal property to be incorporated in any structure, building or other real property forming part of the Project. These taxes are not to be included in the Bid. Bidders must pay attention to all federal, state and local governing laws, including applicable Equal Employment Opportunity, and Minimum Wage and Prevailing Wage Rate Requirements to be paid. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount, of the Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Owner reserves the right to waive any and all irregularities, and to reject any and all bids or to rebid the project solely at the Owner's discretion. Doc Notes: You will be notified when your set is ready for pick up (sets are not preprinted, an order must first be placed) or be delivered via UPS or FedEx upon request to Syracuse Blue Print. The Printer of Record for the Bidding Documents is Syracuse Blue Print located at 825 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13210. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents online and may also obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the online plan room: onlineand at the Town Offices located at 14 Frederick Street, Constantia, NY 13044. Plans may be shipped to the bidder upon receipt of an additional non-refundable freight charge payable to Syracuse Blue Print by separate check or credit card payment. Bidder has the option to provide Syracuse Blue Print with Bidder's UPS or FedEx shipping account number to expedite the delivery of the documents. Each plan holder of record will be notified by an e-mail regarding each addendum issued for the project. Emails will be from Syracuse Blue Print. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to submit an accurate e-mail address when requesting Bidding Documents. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the Public Plan room on the www.syracuseblueprintplanroom.com website to ensure that all addenda have been received and to download each addendum. Large addenda and addenda containing full sized drawings will be sent in hard copy format via U.S. Mail or a nationally recognized overnight carrier.
