Time for Completion: The Contract Time for Substantial Completion for the Total Project is 90 Calendar Days. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % The City of Smyrna reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and award in the best interest of the City. The City is requesting proposals for full-width 1 _ overlay paving and various depth milling of multiple streets to include full depth repair as necessary within the City of Smyrna. All sanitary and storm sewer manholes will be lowered and raised by the City. 2-inch manhole risers will be provided to the selected contractor as necessary. Water main valve boxes will be milled through then raised by the City. Any traffic related loops will also be replaced by the City. All streets must be milled to have new asphalt flush with the top of the existing gutter. Any streets to be paved that have concrete speed tables will be required to be protected. Any asphalt speed humps / breakers will be removed and replaced by the selected contractor. All striping will need to follow FHWA requirements for retro reflectivity. Any RPM's will be replaced like for like and all striping will be thermoplastic. All bidders must be GDOT Pre-qualified. The City has provided quantities however the contractor needs to field verify and confirm actuals as part of their bids. **Highlands Parkway will be the only exception to the standard mill and pave. The request is as follows: Will be a 3-inch mill with new 1 _ inch binder and 1 _ inch over lay to end up flush with existing gutter.
