The Town of Southborough, Massachusetts, is requesting bids for the Peninsula Trail Boardwalk Bridge Project. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any and all bids if it deems it to be in the public interest to do so. This Invitation for Bids is administered under the provisions of Chapter 30, 39M of the Massachusetts General Laws. Requests for Invitation for Bid documents must be submitted to: Town of Southborough Select Board's Office, 17 Common Street, Southborough, MA 01772; or emailed to motsuka@southboroughma.com. Bid documents may also be picked up in person at Town of Southborough Town Administrator's Office, 17 Common Street, Southborough, MA, during regular business hours. Questions may be delivered, mailed, e-mailed or faxed no later than November 26 at 5:00pm to Melanie Otsuka at the above contact. These specifications are for fully engineered clear span bridges constructed of materials as determined by the manufacturer of the selected bridge product and shall be regarded as minimum standards for design and construction.
