Site work for a mixed-use development in Panama City, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of a new park located at 3801 11th Street, Springfield, FL, containing a wet pond, walking paths, solar lighting, landscaping, a restroom structure with two individual use ADA restrooms for men and women, information board kiosk, and pedestrian ATV bridge. The project involves constructing a stormwater retention pond and stormwater conveyance systems to tie existing infrastructure to the new retention pond. Bids must be submitted either electronically via Central Bidding or by paper, sealed and delivered to City of Springfield. Bids must be clearly marked and accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid. All bids must be firm for 30 days after opening. The City will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder but reserves the right to select another bid that offers better value based on reliability, quality of service, or product. Further requirements regarding bid submittals, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are included in the bid documents. The project duration is expected to be 270 days.
