Question Deadline 12/08/2025 at 5:00 PM ET The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide ADA compliant ramp installation services for use by the City of Hallandale Beach Public Works Department. The project involves the new installation of ADA compliant ramps to ensure safe, independent access for all users, compliance with ADA standards, and improved pedestrian safety. Respondents must submit all proposal documents electronically through the specified website. Minimum qualification requirements must be met for a bid to be considered responsive. Firms must provide a bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the project total with the submission, and proof of 100% of total contract bonding capacity is required. The awarded contractor must submit performance and labor materials payment bonds no later than fifteen days after notification of the award. THE REQUIREMENT A. The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Contract documents, which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the work, in good faith, shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the City. All work must comply with the latest ADA standards. B. Prior to construction, the Contractor shall verify existing conditions identified on the Drawings and locate the elements used to tie the location of the concrete pads. Any discrepancy must be discussed with the EOR and/or the City. C. The work to be performed includes site, and civil work associated with the construction of the 25 bus stops shown in the City-wide ADA Compliant Bus Stops Project plans, in the City of Hallandale Beach. D. Work shall be performed to minimize impacts to roadway traffic, parking, residents and/or businesses. Any disruptions in the above shall be coordinated with the City in advance. E.
