Replacement of two (2) influent screw pumps at the City of Bogalusa's Wastewater Treatment Facility. This WORK includes rehabilitation of existing wastewater treatment plant equipment and appurtenances. All potential bidders are responsible for visiting the job site to assess the location and conditions prior to bidding. Complete bid documents, instructions to bidders, bid forms, contracts, plans, specifications, and required bonds can be downloaded from the Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) Plan Room as hosted by Central Bidding, subject to fees and conditions. Prospective bidders must obtain the most recent documents from the designated website. Contractors submitting bids must be licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2164, Municipal and Public Works. The license number must be displayed on the bid and the sealed envelope. Each bidder must have an active Unique Entity ID (UEI) SAM number as verified at www.sam.gov prior to construction. Additional instructions are provided in Section 00900-Special Conditions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause as per Louisiana law. Each bid must be accompanied by security of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, as specified. Sureties must appear as acceptable on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the scheduled bid opening.
