Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Surfside, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a 12,200-square-foot, one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of work includes the restoration of existing paths to their original condition through the replacement of approximately 2,500 square feet of traffic-rated pavers and approximately 7,200 square feet of non-traffic-rated pavers on the south side of the building. In addition, the contractor shall remove and replace approximately 2,500 square feet of pavers on the east side of the building. All quantities must be field-verified. Paver replacement shall be performed in kind and must adhere to existing specifications, patterns, and elevations. Pointing and patching of adjacent curbs shall be completed as necessary. The contractor is responsible for ensuring the pavers match existing specifications and must coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure full compliance with all requirements. The contractor shall prepare any necessary layout information to complete the work and obtain all required permits, including but not limited to Maintenance/Repair Permit and MOT permit from the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) City of Miami Beach. The contractor is also responsible for providing and maintaining all Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) required to safely complete the work in compliance with applicable regulations. Proper signage must be placed around the work area as part of the MOT. The contractor must exercise due care to contain dust and ensure that surrounding landscape, sidewalks, and light fixtures are not damaged. Any items that are damaged during the course of this work shall be replaced and restored to their original condition or better. As-Builts will be provided for reference only. Bidder and all its subcontractors must hold a valid, current, and active State and/or Miami-Dade County contractors license consistent with the requirements of the Scope of Work. Bid documents consist of the RPQ information, bid forms, standard general contract conditions, special provisions, federal bid documents, and as-builts. Bidders shall become thoroughly familiar with all terms prior to the Pre-Bid meeting. All requests for information must comply with the Cone of Silence, and bidders shall examine all bid documents, including As-Builts, prior to submission.
