Renovation of a municipal facility in Norway House, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work was conducted under the Terms of Reference for Asbestos Surveys and Asbestos Management Plans for the RCMP D Division (Zone 7) (Project # R.096697.003, Reference #: 18-170521-2972, Call Up #: 700416140, Order date: July 26, 2018, Proposal acceptance date: July 24, 2018). This program of work is being conducted in all of the Western Region. The Scope of Work for the project presented in this report was to conduct an asbestos survey of eighteen (18) buildings in the community of Norway House, MB. The scope also included communication to RCMP detachments prior to conducting asbestos surveys, daily and weekly field reports and a cost estimate for abatement work under a separate cover if material requiring Action 1 or 3 (Appendix A) was identified . If ACMs were identified through the asbestos survey, an asbestos management plan (AMP) was developed and submitted under separate cover.
