Project B: EarlyChildhoodAddition consists of the complete removalof and existing building of approximately 3,330 sf and a new 8,435 sf addition of conventional construction enclosing 6 classrooms with restrooms, administrationarea,indoorandoutdoor playground and adjacent paving and site improvements. Sealed bids are requested from experienced contractors for two packages: Package A involves construction of a new High School VO-AG Facility, which will be a PEMB structure of approximately 6,175 SF, including two classrooms, a shop area, two restrooms, and adjacent paving and site improvements. Package B involves complete removal of an existing building of approximately 3,330 SF and construction of a new 8,435 SF Early Childhood Addition with six classrooms (with restrooms), administration area, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and adjacent paving and site improvements. The work must include all aspects related to Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and General scopes of the project. Contractors must have a proven record with projects of similar size and scope and must provide an AIA Form 305 Contractor's Statement of Qualifications prior to bidding. Bidders must conform to Instructions to Bidders contained in the Project Manual, submit bid security of not less than 5% of the bid amount, comply with State Prevailing Wage Laws, ensure OSHA 10-hour construction safety training for employees within 10 days of work start, and use the USCIS E-Verify program for employment eligibility verification.
