Renovation of a museum in Auburn, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade museum.

The project consists of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum (ACDAM) Showroom Facade Preservation Project located at 1600 S. Wayne Street, Auburn, IN 46706. The restoration activities to be performed on the showroom facade include: Masonry Restoration (rehabilitation/replacement of damaged masonry components), Lintel Restoration (rehabilitation/replacement of corroded or deteriorating lintels), and Window and Door Restoration (rehabilitation/replacement of exterior windows and doors). The work to be performed must include all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and other requirements necessary for construction. Bidders must submit sealed bids using forms identified in the Contract Documents and Specifications. Each bid shall include a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond for at least five percent of the total amount of the bid. Performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price will be required. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder who is not debarred or ineligible for participation in federally assisted programs. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with applicable federal wage rates, affirmative action requirements, and Buy America provisions. The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs requires a 10% participation goal for minority and women-owned businesses. The Contractor must comply with all applicable federal regulations including those related to nondiscrimination, record retention, and domestic preference for materials. Contract procurement is subject to state and federal regulations and no contract may be awarded to a contractor that is debarred, suspended, or otherwise ineligible for federal contracts.
