The major work consists of removing the existing sewer pumps and equipment, furnishing and installing new submersible pumps, piping, hatches, appurtenances, electrical equipment, controls, and programming at Briarwood Drive Lift Station and at Hammatt Avenue Lift Station in the City of Livingston. The time for completion is sixty (60) working days. Prospective Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bids will not be considered from Bidders who were not physically in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. At the time this contract is awarded, the Contractor shall possess a Class A or C34 California State Contractor's License. Bids are required for the entire work described. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or be awarded a contract for public work unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. Each proposal shall be accompanied by cashier's or certified check, or by an original bidder's bond, for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of said bid and no bid shall be considered unless such security is enclosed therewith.
