The Project includes the following Work: Removal and disposal of wastewater treatment residuals from the PCI Wastewater Treatment Plant contained in the sludge basins. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of Ottawa County, Ohio in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. After the award of the contract let by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Ottawa County, Ohio. Doc note: format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Failure to submit a complete set of documents could result in a bid that is determined to be nonresponsive and rejected by the Owner. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. The cost of printing is to be paid to the printing company at the time the drawings are picked up. Shipping and tax charges are the bidder's responsibility and payable directly to Becker Impressions. Ottawa County reserves the right pursuant to ORC.9.312 to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-material irregularity in determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
