The scope of work involves the complete replacement of the HVAC system servicing CFA-699 at Idaho National Laboratory. The existing system has exceeded its useful life, is inefficient, uses obsolete refrigerant, and faces increasing maintenance challenges due to part unavailability. Work will include demolition and removal of the current HVAC unit, conduit, piping, and support systems, followed by installation of a new HVAC system. This installation will require earthwork and concrete infrastructure, construction of a metal support stand, placement of a new condenser unit, connection of tubing and piping to existing coils, integration of electrical components, and upgrades to the control system to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
