Site work for a communication facility in South El Monte, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade communication facility.
The project solicits competitive proposals from qualified service providers to provide high-speed, scalable, leased lit fiber optic data transmission services (Category 1) for Wide Area Network (WAN) connections between the El Monte Union High School District and their 9 district locations. Proposals must adhere to the rules and regulations of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) as the award is contingent upon receiving E-Rate funding commitment, and all eligible components must be filed with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and be eligible for the California Teleconnect Fund (CTF) discount. All bids must be made on the forms presented, strictly conform with and be responsive to the Contract Documents as defined in the RFP, and be delivered timely at the designated location. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities, or not to fund regardless of E-Rate approval. There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure its bid is timely delivered and no withdrawals are permitted for ninety days after the bid opening date. Question Deadline 12/08/2025 at 12:00 PM PT
