The El Monte Union High School District is soliciting competitive proposals for the procurement and delivery only of specific networking hardware (Internal Connections) eligible for funding under the Schools and Libraries Program (E-Rate Category 2). The project seeks to upgrade and expand the existing District Local Area Network (LAN) across nine locations. All proposals must adhere to the rules and regulations of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC). Proposers must possess a valid Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN). The contract is contingent upon available funding from the federal E-Rate program, and the District has the discretion to proceed with or not proceed with the project regardless of E-Rate approval. The District intends to enter into a thirty-six month agreement with the selected respondent(s), starting July 1, 2026 through September 30, 2029. Bidders must provide a 3-year contract; any other contract terms are grounds for disqualification. The District may award up to two contracts: one for Switches and Network Electronics, and another for UPS Equipment Items. Each will be evaluated separately, and bidders can submit bids for one or both items. Proposals will be evaluated based on price, prior experience, availability, references, and fees. All bids must be submitted using the forms provided, conform to the contract documents, and be received by the District prior to the specified deadline. It is the responsibility of each bidder to ensure that their bid is timely delivered and received at the designated location.
