Site work for a civil project in Lexington, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Contract No. 1 involves drilling and completion of three new water wells and all associated appurtenances. Contract No. 2 involves construction of waterline ranging in size from 2 inches to 10 inches in diameter, to carry both raw and treated water, in both PVC and HDPE, along with all associated appurtenances. Funding is provided through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program, requiring compliance with Labor Standards Contract Provisions. Compliance with the Davis Bacon Act is mandatory if the total project cost exceeds $10,000,000. All bids will be opened and evaluated for completeness and correctness. All work, construction, and materials used and furnished must be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by WDB Engineering, PLLC. The Bid Packet and Contract Documents may be examined and downloaded from wdbengineering.net under bid documents. A complete set of Plans and Specifications may be obtained upon payment. The Prime Bidder's name must appear on the Official QuestCDN Planholder's list; otherwise, the bid will be returned unopened. Construction of waterline ranging in size from 2" to 10" diameter, to carry both raw and treated water, in both PVC and HDPE, along with all associated appurtenances All work shall be performed, and all construction and materials used and furnished shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by WDB Engineering, PLLC, and on file in the office of the Engineer The consulting engineer is WDB Engineering, PLLC. The consulting engineer's contact person for this project is Kim Hornbuckle with phone number, (405) 938-6145. Contract No. 1 - Consists of the completion of three (3) production water wells and appurtenances. A minimum of three (3) test holes shall be drilled to determine the most favorable locations for the three (3) production wells. Wells No. 4 through No. 6 are assumed to have an approximate total depth of 350'- 450' below ground surface and produce 150-250 gpm. The Contractor will be required to work closely with an Engineer Approved Logging Company and/or Hydrogeologist to complete the test holes and the final production well designs. The production wells will be enclosed within a protective split faced block structure. This contract will also consist of all electrical components to make the three (3) production wells operational including protective block enclosures as shown on plans and all Micro-Comm SCADA outlined in the plans and specifications. All well construction is located within the boundaries of the Lexington Wildlife Management Area, which limits access between October 1 and January 15. Contract No. 2 - Consists of the installation of approximately 11 miles of waterline, ranging in size from 2" to 6". A portion of the waterline is situated within the boundaries of the Lexington Wildlife Management Area, which limits access between October 1 and January 15. Well No. 4 is located in the NW/4 Section 27, T7N, R1EIM in Cleveland County, OK. Well No. 5 is located in the NE/4 Section 27, T7N, R1EIM in Cleveland County, OK. Well No. 6 is located in the NW/4 Section 34, T7N, R1EIM in Cleveland County, OK. PART 3 SCOPE OF WORK The work consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment, tools, and services to complete necessary test holes and drill, log, sample, case, cement, perforate, develop, test pump, and complete three gun-perforated production water wells for public water supply purposes. Drilling 4.1.1 The test well(s) are to be drilled with a 7" diameter bit. 4.1.2 Drill to an approximate depth of 500 feet, in the Garber-Wellington Formation. 4.1.3 The test wells shall be drilled using a straight mud rotary unit. Water level in the area is about 250 feet.
