Site work and paving for a road / highway in Newport, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for Husted Lane roadway improvements in the Township of Downe, Cumberland County. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the project name and include the name and address of the bidder. The form provided in the specifications must be used. Bids must be submitted by mail or in person before the stated deadline. Late bids will be returned unopened. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to ten percent of the total lump sum bid, not to exceed $20,000. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive minor irregularities. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and most responsible bidder. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after the opening. Bidders must comply with the Law Against Discrimination, submit a statement of ownership, provide proof of registration with the State of New Jersey, and include a copy of the Business Registration Certificate for both the bidder and named or listed subcontractors. Failure to do so will result in mandatory rejection of the bid.
