Renovation of a municipal facility in Lambertville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The City of Lambertville is soliciting proposals to provide an improved audio-visual experience for our board members and the public and to improve technology and for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act at the Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center located at 25 South Union Street in the City. While City staff has a few ideas for improvements, we are limited by subject knowledge and lack of field expertise. The following ideas have been considered, and successful proposals shall include or alternatively address the concern: PART A (VISUAL/PRESENTATION) o Ability to offer closed captioning, possibly utilizing attendees' personal devices o Portable screens, monitors, or smart tv's that would allow those seated at the dais a clear view of presentations; and the members of the public to be able to view the same document/presentation o Wireless (or conveniently placed wired) connectivity for presentation computers PART B (AUDIO SYSTEM) o An improved audio system that is cohesive, offers quality sound, and can accommodate a variety of uses o Acoustic paneling or other physical improvements to improve sound quality o "Hearing Loop" technology, or the equivalent that is able to be synced with all devices, and will be effective regardless of room layout PLEASE NOTE: The systems, both audio and visual, need to extend to the outer lobby to accommodate the overflow of people who attend public meetings. Flood risk must also be considered. Equipment and wiring must be placed in a way that can be protected from flood waters, should the situation occur. PART C (ACOUSTICS) o Review of the room using sound devices to determine the best approach for sound management Since advances in technology are inevitable and systems quickly become outdated, we are seeking creative proposals that utilize technology in ways that are reliable and forward thinking. The useful life of any new equipment needs to be at least five years. The City recognizes that in order to accommodate the desired improvements, it may be necessary to upgrade the existing equipment. A list of current A/V equipment is available upon request. A floor plan of the building is included as item V
