The scope of Work contemplated for the above-named Project includes the removal of approximately 6" of soil over an area of approximately 8,400 square feet, disposal of the material at an approved disposal site, and placement of certified clean fill, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for completion of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within Sixty (60) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to City Clerk. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "City of Lambertville" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by City of Lambertville in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded by the City of Lambertville.
