Services include providing independent safety and compliance inspection and consulting for an outdoor shooting range. Bidders are to provide all labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the services required. The scope includes regular inspections, identifying potential safety hazards, verifying compliance with applicable regulations, and providing recommendations for corrective actions. Scope of Work The selected consultant shall perform, at a minimum, the following tasks: 1. Site Inspection and Assessment Conduct an on-site assessment of all firing lines, berms, backstops, sidewalls, safety baffles, range boundaries, and adjacent impact areas. Evaluate ballistic containment, projectile safety zones, and shotfall management (the area downrange where projectiles may land or accumulate). Review safety signage, access controls, and perimeter security. Assess environmental conditions related to lead management, soil, and stormwater controls. Review facility rules, range safety officer procedures, training documentation, and emergency plans. Examine maintenance practices, range infrastructure conditions, and overall operational safety posture.
