Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade theater / auditorium.

The Lansing School District will receive bids for Projects: SB-0071 Sexton High School Auditorium Renovations. Bidding documents will be available on or before November 24, 2025 on the School District's website or the State of Michigan procurement site. Bids must be received at the Lansing School District Purchasing Office before 2:00 pm local time Thursday, December 18, 2025. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the same location. All bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Relationship Affidavit, disclosing any familial relationship between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Lansing School District Board of Education or the Superintendent. The School District shall not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. A bid security bond of 5% is required to be submitted with each bid. The Lansing School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the bidder submitting the best financial bid (low bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion.
