The Work of This Contract Generally Includes Construction of Water Treatment Plant Expansion Consisting of Two Deep Bed Dual Media Filters, Pipe Gallery, Electrical Gear Upgrades, Underground Concrete Disinfection Contact Basin, and Associated Site Piping Modifications. These Improvements Will Include Excavation, Subgrade Preparation, and Construction of a Facility Expansion as Well as the Installation of Various Site Piping, Butterfly Valves, and Associated Fittings, Electrical Gear, Filter Control Panel and Associated Valves and Instrumentation, and Associated Site Electrical Work, Underground Concrete Disinfection Contact Basin, and Site Restoration and Seeding. It is Expected That the Project Will Be Substantially Complete on or Before August 31, 2027 . Bids Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond in the Amount Not Less Than 5% of the Total Bid Amount, Payable to the City of Mccall. Proof of Bid Security Must Be Submitted With the Official Bid Documents. Said Bid Security Shall Be Forfeited to the Owner as Liquidated Damages Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into a Contract in Accordance With Their Proposal as Specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
