Remodeling of a transportation facility in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade transportation facility.
The scope of work encompasses the removal and disposal of existing carpet in the TSA passenger hold room and checkpoint areas. Install commercial-grade carpet tiles suitable for a high-traffic environment. Bidders are instructed not to submit quotes via Commbuys. Scope of Work: Project: Replacement of carpeting at Nantucket Memorial Airport Areas: Airport Terminal TSA Checkpoint Airport Terminal TSA Passenger Hold Room Total Carpet Area: Approximately 4,800 SF The selected contractor will provide Nantucket Memorial Airport professional services to ensure the successful implementation of all aspects of this scope. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following elements: Remove and dispose of existing carpet in the areas named above. Prepare floors for the installation of new carpeting, including removal of old adhesives and leveling if needed, required according to manufacturers specifications. The Project requires the use of a diamond-grinding surface preparation method. The Contractor shall diamond-grind all designated floor areas to properly prepare the surface prior to carpet installation. Furnish and Install commercial-grade carpet tiles suitable for a high-traffic environment. (colors to be selected)
