The Cleveland Division of Water (CWD) and the Cleveland Division of Water Pollution Control (WPC) are seeking to contract with a service provider for the development, marketing, implementation, and management of a Residential Plumbing Warranty Program. This program is intended to offer optional protection plans to residential customers covering emergency repairs to water service lines, sewer service lines, and existing internal water/sewer plumbing facilities. The program aims to educate customers on ownership responsibilities, provide affordable solutions for costly repairs, ensure repair work is performed by licensed professionals, and offer a 24-hour customer service call center with rapid response for covered service calls. The initial contract term is four years, with two one-year renewal options, subject to legislative approval. Proposals from prospective service providers should comply with all terms and requirements specified.
