Sealed proposals are requested for the performance of Channel Improvements 2025 for Sanitary and Improvement District No. 503 of Douglas County, Nebraska. The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment as per the plans and specifications available at E & A Consulting Group Inc. The scope consists of mobilization/demobilization, maintaining traffic control, installing a construction entrance, constructing temporary safety fence, general clearing and grubbing, clearing/grubbing of trees over 18" to 27" diameter, installing curb inlet protection, riprap removal, constructing Type 'C' riprap, repairing small areas of 4" sidewalk, small pavement repair, sodding installation, and sprinkler system protection and repair, with approximated quantities listed for each item. Proposals must use the bid forms from E & A Consulting Group, Inc. Each must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of not less than $2,555.00, payable to the Treasurer of the District, as security for contract execution and provision of a contract and maintenance bond equal to 100% of the contract price. Proposals, sealed, must be submitted to the Clerk and marked with the project name and bidder's details. Bid security must be in a separate sealed envelope attached to the proposal. Bids cannot be withdrawn for thirty days after the opening date. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Interested bidders must obtain plans, specifications, and contract documents from E & A Consulting Group, Inc. for a non-refundable fee. The improvements are to be paid for by issue of warrants of the District in accordance with the contract.
