Site work for a water / sewer project in Bothell, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project will repair flooding damage caused by severe winter storms, which resulted in streamflow undermining the concrete footing of a modular block retaining wall and causing a portion of the wall to collapse into the creek. Temporary measures are in place, such as a chain link fence and erosion control sacks. The goals are to restore the trail to its original width and construct streambank bioengineering reinforcement to protect the trail from future flooding. The design is currently 40% complete. The Consultant is required to use the existing design and complete a 100% design package for construction advertisement, including plans, specifications, and estimate for restoration of the streambank, repair of the modular block wall, and installation of vegetated riprap bank protection with large wood restoration; preparation of environmental documentation and permit applications (HPA, JARPA, local permits); coordination with FEMA and permitting agencies; and right of way acquisition and support. Additional services may include construction management/engineering services. Statements of Qualifications should include firm and team details and proposals will be evaluated on project manager qualifications, team expertise, past performance, FEMA experience, project approach, and proposed schedule. Submittals must include specified contact and team information.
