Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the addition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The project entails consultant services for the following: a) Solution for the Modernization or Replacement of Ecole Dickinsfield in Fort McMurray i. This is a solution project, which involves the consultant exploring the option to either replace the existing school with a new building or modernizing and providing an addition to the existing school. The consultant is to provide information for both options. ii. Option 1 - Replacement: Replacement of the existing building with a new K-6 with a 740 student capacity. The Replacement of the existing school is to include the abatement and demolition of the existing school site once the replacement school is completed. iii. Option 2 - Modernization and Addition: The modernization and addition of the existing school which has an existing capacity of 706 students in grades K-6. The project scope will include major modernization, areas of demolition and added area of new construction. The existing building has a gross floor area of 5754 m2 with the planned gross floor area at opening of 6,052 m2 .
