The City of Marietta, Ohio ("City") hereby gives public notice that it is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified consulting firms to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan under the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Planning and Demonstration Grant Program. The selected firm will assist the City in completing all tasks necessary to produce a federally compliant Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, including but not limited to: o Crash data analysis and GIS mapping of high-injury networks; o Review of existing City plans in support of a citywide safety analysis; o Pedestrian, cyclist, and roadway safety assessment; o Community and stakeholder engagement activities; o Development of recommended strategies, interventions, and prioritization of projects; o Preparation of documentation required for SS4A reporting and grant compliance. Detailed scope, deliverables, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements are provided in the full RFP. The City will evaluate proposals in accordance with criteria set forth in the RFP, including relevant experience, technical approach, understanding of local conditions, community engagement strategy, and cost effectiveness. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the City.
