This RFP seeks to solicit proposals from qualified suppliers interested in providing the service or products specified below. This RFP is a single contract procurement vehicle designed to select a company who can meet the needs of the University, while understanding the current environment and our desired future enhancements. The response to this RFP will be considered as an offer to contract. Final negotiations on the best offer, if deemed necessary by the University, will be conducted to resolve any minor differences and informalities. After final negotiations, an acceptance of any RFP offer may or may not be issued by the University. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is seeking a qualified firm to perform corrosion repair and coating/painting services for two observatory domes located on the roof of the College of Arts and Sciences. The domes measure approximately 8 feet and 30 feet in diameter. The selected contractor will be responsible for: o Assessing the existing condition of both domes; o Recommending appropriate repair methods and coating/painting systems; o Performing all approved corrosion repair, surface preparation, and coating/painting work; and o Delivering a finished product that coordinates aesthetically with the surrounding architecture and meets ERAU's performance expectations.
