2617ITB - Multiple Utilities Landscape Site Maintenance. All Bid Responses must be submitted online through the designated Platform. Bidders must register or log in to participate, and it is recommended to register as early as possible to stay informed. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held via Teams. Questions must be submitted through the Platform's Question & Answer tab before the specified deadline. Participants must review all addenda, revisions, and published answers prior to submitting an offer. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and qualification checks before awarding the contract. Any software or platform support inquiries must be directed to OpenGov Procurement Support. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, services, and all other necessary incidentals required to perform complete landscape maintenance of all the areas as detailed in a manner that will maintain healthy turf, shrubs and plants, weed free rock covered areas, and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. All Landscaping will be maintained in a healthy, neat, and attractive condition, and will be maintained in accordance with Landscape Industry Standards. The Contractor will mow, trim, eliminate weeds, and repair or replace damaged or dead landscaping. Shrubs, hedges, plants and flowers that are dying or dead will be replaced - unless caused by an outside third party, force majeure or directed by the Department Contact, replacement will be at no cost to the City. Examples of third-party damage include damage due to vehicular accidents, hurricanes, etc. Shrubs will be pruned to enhance their beauty and health and to maintain their natural growth characteristics, including height and shape. The Contractor will maintain existing sanitary lift station areas clear of weeds and debris. Regular maintenance includes weeding and spraying as necessary to keep a clean appearance on the lift station locations with rock. Grass and weeds will not be permitted to grow in the rocked sanitary lift station's locations, and all plants will be kept trimmed from fence line and entry points around the lift station locations. Spraying for weeds is not allowed in areas around raw water wells - weed control at those addresses will need to be maintained by pulling or with the use of a weed torch.
