Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Freeport, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Scope of work includes, but is not limited to: demolition of the football field, demolition of the softball field, demolition of metal buildings, demolition of concrete, removal of utilities, and additional related tasks. Work also includes erosion control, temporary fencing, utility relocation, construction entrances and laydown areas, temporary access roads, and safety barriers and signage. Instructions to bidders: Sealed bids may be hand delivered, mailed, or dropped off in person at Walton County School District, 555 Walton Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, 32433, or Bear General Contractors, LLC, 1216 N. Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32501. May also be dropped off in person at 555 Walton Rd, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433. Envelopes must be clearly labeled: SEALED BID FOR FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC COMPLEX - PHASE 1A -SITE SETUP AND DEMOLITION. Interested bidders may obtain plans or request additional information by contacting the estimating department at estimating@beargc.com. Walton County School District and Bear General Contractors, LLC reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding process.
