Bear General Contractors, LLC, serving as the Construction Manager for the new Freeport High School Athletic Complex – Phase I, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified subcontractors for various trades including but not limited to structural building concrete, masonry, structural steel and miscellaneous metals, general works, sealants, roofing and accessories, insulation, hollow metal and hardware, glass and glazing, wood doors, overhead doors, drywall assemblies, fabric wrapped panels, acoustical ceiling, carpet and resilient flooring, painting and wallcovering, specialties and accessories, signage, folding partitions, walkway covers, residential equipment, scoreboards, athletic field equipment, casework/millwork, window blinds, grandstand seating, bleachers, press box, metal building systems, fire protection systems, test and balance commissioning, HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical and fire alarm systems, earthwork and sitework, site utilities, site concrete paving, asphalt paving, termite control, synthetic grass surfacing, and fencing. Sealed bids may be hand delivered or mailed to the Walton County School District at 555 Walton Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, 32433. Mailed bids should be scheduled for delivery by the day before the bid opening and the envelope must be labeled clearly. Bids must specify the particular scope of work being covered and include the project number, date, and time of bid. Electronic bids and late submissions will not be accepted.
