Renovation of an educational facility in Dublin, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Godbey Hall Roof Replacement project at New River Community College, Project Code # 260-B5260-018 (M25NR108) located in Dublin, Virginia. The project is generally described as the installation of a new 90 Mil single ply EPDM roof system with all new insulation, flashing, and sheet metal accessories. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2) and Contract Security is required for any bid regardless of the bid amount. The bidder or offeror shall be a registered vendor in eVA. Contractor shall process all Pay Applications/Invoices through the Owners web-based project management software, e-Builder, with no fee for use. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids, and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. The contract shall be awarded on a lump sum basis as follows: the Total Base Bid Amount including any properly submitted and received bid modifications plus such successive Additive Bid Items as the Owner in its discretion decides to award. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. All bidders or offerors must register in eVA and pay the specified Vendor Transaction Fees; failure to register will result in their bid/proposal being rejected.
