Southeast Missouri State University will be receiving sealed bids for the work involved in the Vandiver Hall Roof Replacement, SB11213. All contractors or subcontractors performing work must provide, and require their on-site employees to complete, a ten (10) hour construction safety and health course approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program. Employees who have not previously completed the program must do so within sixty (60) days before work commences. On-site employees without documentation of the required training must provide it within twenty (20) days or face removal from the project. Each proposal must include a certified or cashiers check, or bid bond executed by the Bidder and an approved Surety Company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. An electronic copy of all project drawings and specifications will be issued free of charge to contractors who request it. ***Prospective bidders must request plans and specifications directly from Southeast MO State University and get listed as an official plan holder, or they will not be eligible to bid on the project Question Deadline 12/05/2025 No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the plans and specifications or the acceptability of alternate products, materials, form or type of construction.
