Site work for a transportation facility in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade transportation facility.
The Southeast Metropolitan Planning Organization (SEMPO) requests proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct a Transit Planning Study for the Cape Girardeau County Transit Authority (CGCTA). The purpose is to evaluate the feasibility of extending fixed-route transit services to the Nash Road Corridor and the City of Jackson, Missouri. The consultant shall complete tasks including project initiation and coordination, data collection and analysis, market analysis and ridership forecasting, service alternatives development, financial and operational analysis, public and stakeholder engagement, and preparation of draft and final reports. Deliverables include a project management plan, data analysis reports, ridership demand analysis, service alternatives report, public engagement summary, draft and final planning studies. Proposals should include a cover sheet, project understanding, team qualifications, project approach, project management strategies, project schedule, and budget. The project has a budget of $90,000 for FY 2026 and must be completed within 9–12 months of Notice to Proceed. All applicable federal requirements must be met, and proposals must be received electronically in PDF format."
