The City of Stockton will receive sealed bids for the Bridge Rehabilitation and Replacement Program in accordance with specified plans and specifications. Each bid must be submitted on the official bid form, conform to the official bid documents, and be accompanied by a Bidder's Guaranty, Non-Collusion Declaration, and all required documents and information. Bidders must be licensed according to State laws. Bids must be marked appropriately, indicating the project name, number, and bid opening date, and delivered to the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall. The bids will be publicly opened and declared. A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as defined by the Stockton Municipal Code, though the City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder must furnish Labor and Material and Faithful Performance Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, from a company authorized to issue surety bonds in California, using official forms from the City, and executed by both the surety and contractor before or at the time of contract signing.
