A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Submit questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Project includes the following Work: The Project is to be commissioned to provide a complete and functional electrical system upgrade for MOV electric actuator relocations from below grade (in a vault) to above grade. This project requires coordination with a separate contractor who installing a new valve and electric actuator for MOV1 during the last two weeks of January 2026. MOV2 and MOV4 will be replaced at a later date in 2027. The work includes running power and signal conduits and wire to all three MOV vaults and associated elements, with the conduits for MOV2 and MOV4 being sealed for District integration at a later date. Potholing for existing utilities. Perform all required potholing, utility locating, and verification prior to any excavation. Excavate and install new PVC conduits from the main distribution panel to the vaults. Conduits in duct bank or red slurry. Provide and install all associated components including junction boxes, conductors, grounding and bonding systems, and conductor identification and labeling. Restore all disturbed areas to original or better condition with proper compaction, finish grading, and erosion control. Complete all necessary conduit routing, terminations, grounding, and system integration for MOV1. Complete all necessary conduit routing, grounding, etc. for MOV2 and MOV4 with the District terminating the wiring and system integration. Install breakers. Coordinate tie-in activities with District operations to ensure seamless transition with no unplanned outages. Coordinate with contractor regarding installation of new MOV1 butterfly valve and electric actuator. MOV2 and MOV4 conduits need to be sealed for later connection by District. Perform all final testing and provide documentation of insulation resistance, phasing, voltage, and load testing results. Perform megger testing on wires. Install new pull boxes and disconnects per the Contract Documents. Label new wire per District standards (ISA).
