The improvements will include the replacement of small meters (primarily residential), SmartPoint radio installation, and related plumbing work throughout the City. Summary of Primary Work Items: 1. Replace approximately 730 water meters. 2. Installation and programming Sensus SmartPoint radios. 3. Installation of expansion tank and applicable piping. 4. Additional plumbing, which may include replumbing of meter setting, shutoff valve installation or replacement and miscellaneous other plumbing work. The meter replacements will be located throughout the water service boundary for the Southeast Joliet Sanitary District. The City will work with the Contractor within the city GIS system to identify specific accounts Sealed bids are invited for the Southeast Joliet Sanitary District Water Meter Replacement Program, Contract No. 2941-0126. Vendors must register in the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) portal, accept all terms and conditions, and opt in to notifications. Bids must be submitted in the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) portal. All questions must be submitted through the portal; questions submitted outside the portal will not be accepted or answered. All questions and responses will be shared through the portal to ensure consistency and fairness.
