Site work for a water / sewer project in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of the installation of approximately 670 linear feet of 4-inch, 1,190 linear feet of 6-inch, 3,910 linear feet of 8-inch, 50 linear feet of 10-inch, and 10,490 linear feet of 12-inch water main. The work also includes the installation of approximately 40 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer, including new manholes and connections to existing structures. Any contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in part by a loan from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) and must comply with related regulations and requirements, including those set forth in the Public Water Supply Loan Program, Davis-Bacon Act, Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, Illinois Works Jobs Program Act Apprenticeship Initiative, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise policy, and 'Use of American Iron and Steel' provisions. Compliance with the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) and the loan recipient's disadvantaged business enterprises policy is also required. Bidders are required to attend and participate in a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. All questions must be submitted by January 6, 2026 by 4:00 PM (local time) through the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) portal
