St. Johns County requires ongoing maintenance, diagnostics, calibration, and system upgrades for its existing Thor-Guard Lightning Prediction & Warning Systems installed throughout County facilities. Thor-Guard is a proprietary lightning prediction technology, and these systems can only be serviced, upgraded, calibrated, or repaired by authorized personnel trained specifically on Thor-Guard equipment. Services Included The subscription may include, but is not limited to, the following Motorola Solutions proprietary applications: o Check and test the Hyperstatic Sensor (typically roof-mounted) o Perform diagnostic testing of the base system o Perform diagnostic testing of all remote horn locations o Conduct battery load testing at the base unit and all remote horn sites o Conduct horn compression checks and test horn operation at all locations o Inspect and verify transmitter and receiver communication functionality o Upgrade system circuit board chip, when required, to the most current version for improved performance o Provide additional training to County staff, as needed St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County.
