Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Summit, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Doremus Street Improvement Project. Major work items include HMA milling, 2" or less (6,405 square yards) and hot mix asphalt 9.5M64 surface course, 2" thick (830 tons). Bidders are required to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements, including but not limited to Prevailing Wage Act, Statement of Ownership Disclosure, Affirmative Action, Business Registration, and City's minimum standard insurance requirements. A bid security of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, is required in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, payable to the City. All bids must be submitted in a properly sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and nature of the bid.
