Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Summit, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade road / highway.
Project was awarded to Portofino Builders, LLC in the amount of $1,234,567.89 Sealed bids are solicited for the Canoe Brook Parkway Improvement Project in Summit, New Jersey. The work must be completed by July 1, 2026, and major items include: 2,150 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2,500 square yards of 4-inch thick concrete sidewalk, and 645 square yards of decorative high traffic pavement surfacing. Bids must include a bid security of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000, in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. Bidders must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and requirements including the Prevailing Wage Act, Statement of Ownership Disclosure, Affirmative Action requirements, Business Registration, and the city's minimum standard insurance requirements. The awarding authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor defects, and consider bids for sixty days after their receipt. No oral interpretation and or clarification of the meaning of the specifications for any goods and services will be made to any bidder Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the OWNER'S representative stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation must be received at least seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid.
