Bidder shall enter their prices in the unit price and extension columns on the bid line items and provide answers to requested information listed after the bid line items. Only responses submitted through the specified electronic system will be accepted. Delivery shall not exceed 30 calendar days from receipt of order. Payment will be made 30 calendar days after delivery and receipt of a corrected invoice. All items listed must be bid, and any contract awarded will include all items in a single contract. The contractor shall not assign or otherwise attempt to dispose of the contract, or any of the monies due, without prior written consent from the department. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders are required to provide a complete detailed description for each item, including manufacturer and part number, regardless of whether the item matches the specified item. If quoting items other than those specified, literature or specifications must be submitted with the bid. Prices quoted must include all delivery charges and any applicable duties, but be exclusive of federal excise taxes and not include sales or use taxes unless otherwise stated. Awards are not effective until a final analysis has been completed and a purchase order or contractual document has been issued to the successful bidder. All vendors must bill the department with proper tax, collect tax from LADWP, and remit it to the State of California. Delivery will be accepted only at specified times, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. All bids are subject to acceptance for 90 days unless otherwise stated.
